A story beginning in Senegal

Students at Pintor Manolo Millares school visit “Féétéé” and interview the entrepreneurs.

On our trip to entrepreneurship we decided to visit the showroom of three Young Canarian entrepreneurs, to know how a company starts, how and when the idea was born and how this idea is transformed into something tangible.

We knew beforehand that the visited company is dedicated to making products, mostly handmade, with imported fabrics from Senegal. They design and make their ideas a reality. They are creative entrepreneurs.

They answered our questions, showed us the products they design, shared their experiences with us and what is more important, we were given a warm welcome,

Each student took a question previously prepared in class. We should freely ask what raises more interest to us to know that it was a company in its beginnings.

The spanish school worked on the values of perseverance and unity and their task was: "The Mini Olympics".

The project was explained on Italian school magazine and to the community! Green Game was a TV show sponsored by VASE. It connected values with recycling involving the VASE project and the students and highlighted especially responsibility and perseverance. Teaching values in a creative way!

"The Future meets our Present and our Past"

These are some of our students' works related to the workshop held at school. They were asked to think about their future and their projects... Here they go!

21st April 2015: Second workshop on Entrepreneurship.

A successful meeting with two local entrepreneurs about values and business. Students were invited to think about perseverance, honesty and teamwork in business. Thanks to Mr Sisto and Mrs Bagnardi!

11 April 2015: Workshop about perseverance, creativity, teamwork, collaboration, respect, honesty and more. Three local entrepreneurs met the students and discussed in the native language and in English about how to pass from our dreams to reality through values. It was an amazing opportunity to develop students' skills and views.

In April 2015 the Italian team started the Erasmus+Entrepreneurship Event about values and entrepreneurs.

The work of the project VASE (Erasmus +) continue in a good rate, in this case in soap production shed conducted a wokshop for the students preparation. They have now skills in this area that will allow it to develop this activity with success.

The food production sector of prototype company of Agrupamento de Escolas Marinhas do Sal was in full work in the biscuits production. Thus, although it is not yet formally constituted, our company is already producing and contributing to transmit entrepreneurs skills to our students. We want to contribute to an innovative and creative learning and help our students to have the skills to create their business.

Erasmus+ VASE Project -Teaching values: collaboration and cooperation on PhotoPeach

Agrupamento de Escolas Marinhas do Sal, Rio Maior

In the the Erasmus VASE project "Social values and student entrepreneurs" the students of Agrupamento de Escolas Marinhas Sal participated in the workshop on creativity and innovation promoted by the Municipality of Rio Maior.

The 5a, class involved in this project was also present at this event and considered that the activities carried out were very interesting. The students participated actively in the development of innovative equipment and built a tower at the end with the materials assigned by the local authority trainers.

This activity was intended to fulfill one of the main objectives of this project that deals with the relentless pursuit of innovation to create their own business.

January was the month of the responsibility for the students involved in the VASE project. Students of 5ºB built the word and then they took a photograph. They started building the values-tree, first the branch of responsibility.
